What to see in Lungchok

This little village is flanked by lush green forest consisting of Pine and Fir trees and endless stretches of step cultivated paddy fields. Lungchok also provides onlookers with a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjungha. Just a few kilometers of detour from Lungchok would take you to the 45-foot high Buddha waterfall and a hanging bridge over Shokey Khola river. You can visit Lungchok anytime of the year. The monsoons and pre-winter is great for the greenery while the winters offer sparkling weather and sweeping views of Mt. Kanchenjungha.
